    We are an Independent Insurance Agency that has the freedom to work with many insurance companies to best meet your personal needs.  We work with some of the largest and most credible insurance companies in the business.  We excel at bridging the gap between these large, nationally acclaimed, companies and our customers by delivering personalized service with the care of a locally owned community business.  We have no quotas to meet, we represent "YOU".  
     Like many people affected by recent events, we have kept up with the changing times and have evolved to serve you even better, virtually.  We are available most nights and weekends when most other agencies are closed.  Whether you need to make a payment, purchase insurance, or just have questions, we can do the entire process by phone, email or online.

About the Owner:
Originally from Nashville, Georgia, Terry Smith has called Valdosta home since 1984, shortly after starting his career in the Insurance Industry. In 1997, Terry opened his car lot on
St. Augustine Road and operated Terry Smith Cars & Trucks for 21 years. About 16 years later, Terry decided to get back to his first love and opened Smith Insurance Agency and ran
both businesses simultaneously. Terry closed his car lot in 2018 to focus solely on the Insurance business. Terry has over 37 years in the Insurance Industry and is passionate about
helping his customers protect what they have worked hard to own. Terry is married to Deanna, his wife of 18 years, and has three beautiful daughters, Laura, Tara, and Katie. In his
spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family at their family place on the Gulf of Mexico in Suwannee, FL.
